- General/OBC candidates: 50% aggregate in MBBS/BDS
- SC/ST candidates: 45% aggregate

INI-CET 2025 Counselling & Admission Process
The INI-CET Counselling is conducted online by AIIMS, New Delhi, for admission to MD, MS, DM (6 years), MCh (6 years), and MDS courses.
The Step-by-Step process is given below:
1. Counselling Process
Step 1: Online Registration
- Candidates who qualify the INI-CET exam must register online for counselling on the AIIMS portal.
- Fill in personal details, category, and preferences.
Step 2: Choice Filling & Locking
- Select preferred institutes and courses.
- Lock choices before the deadline to confirm selections.
Step 3: Seat Allotment
- AIIMS releases seat allotment lists for each round.
- Seat allocation is based on rank, category, and availability.
Step 4: Seat Acceptance & Reporting
- Candidates allotted a seat must accept the offer online and report to the allotted institute for document verification.
- Pay the admission fee to confirm the seat.

2. Rounds of Counselling
🔹 Round 1:
- First round of seat allotment.
- Candidates can accept, upgrade, or withdraw.
🔹 Round 2:
- If seats remain vacant, a second round is conducted.
- Candidates who did not get a seat in Round 1 can participate.
🔹 Open Round (if applicable):
- Conducted if seats are still available after Round 2.
