OVERVIEW

The Bachelor of Laws (LLB) is a professional undergraduate law degree. The students pursued this course will be prepared for a career in the legal field. After completing this course students will gain a strong foundation in constitutional law, criminal law, corporate law, and civil law, along with legal reasoning, research, and advocacy skills. The course duration is 3 years (after graduation) or 5 years (integrated with BA/BBA/B.Com).

LLB is recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI). Graduates can pursue careers as lawyers, legal advisors, judges, corporate consultants, or academicians. Admission is based on entrance exams like CLAT, LSAT India, AILET, DU LLB, and university-specific exams. For providing practical legal exposure, This course includes internships, moot courts, and case studies.

After completing LLB, students can practice law, join corporate firms, work in government services, or pursue higher studies like LLM or judiciary exams.

3-Year LLB – Requires a bachelor’s degree with 45-50% marks; admission via DU LLB, MH CET Law, BHU LLB, etc.
5-Year Integrated LLB – Requires 10+2 with 45-50% marks; admission through CLAT, AILET, LSAT India, SLAT, etc.
