Asansol Engineering College, a private self-financing institute in Asansol, West Bengal, was established in 1998 under the Society of The Academy of Engineers (India). The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal. It is affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) and recognized by the UGC under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act (1956).
