All hostels are Wi-Fi enabled, ensuring seamless internet access for academic and personal use. A caution deposit of INR 5000 is required for hostel admission for both male and female students.
• Library: The three-story central library at HIT features six reading halls with a total seating capacity of 300 students. The library is well-stocked with 89,784 books, including general books, Book Bank resources, and TEQIP-funded books under the World Bank Fund. Digital resources and electronic access are also available for research and learning.
• Laboratories: The institute boasts state-of-the-art computer labs equipped with over 850 computers, along with well-furnished engineering workshops and specialized laboratories, providing students with hands-on experience in their respective fields.
• Additional Facilities: HIT Haldia offers a range of amenities, including a multipurpose auditorium with a seating capacity of 500, a restaurant, open-air cafeteria, departmental store, pharmacy, bank & ATM, laundry services, multi-facility gym, barber shop, post office, bookstore, and reprographic section.
