OVERVIEW
Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS), formerly Hindustan College of Engineering, was established in 1985 and later became a deemed-to-be university. It is recognized by UGC, AICTE, AIMA, SAE International, and AIAA, it is a member of AIU and accredited by NBA and NAAC with an 'A' grade. HITS offers over 100 UG and PG programs across engineering, management, law, humanities, and sciences. It also provides distance learning through its Centre for Online and Distance Learning (CODL) and delivers courses through 13 on-campus schools and study centers.
