OVERVIEW
The International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT Bangalore or IIIT-B) is a Deemed-to-be University under the de-novo category, recognized as per Section 3 of the UGC Act. Established in 1998 through a collaboration between the Government of Karnataka and the IT Industry, the institute marked its anniversary with events such as a research symposium, cultural festival, and gala dinner. In the NIRF 2024 Rankings, IIIT Bangalore secured the 74th position in the Engineering category.
